Enjoy beautiful walking routes as soon as you step outside the door. At our place, you can stroll through the forest, along the field and through the garden with several vistas and seating areas. You can also take country lanes to the medieval town of Beaumont de Périgord or to hunchbacks. There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, for example from Monpazier to the megaliths around the town.

There are trails nearby to suit everyone, from the Grand Randonnées such as the GR36 and GR6 to marked circular walks (5km to 40km) around Monpazier.

If you are unable or unwilling to bring your own bicycle, you can rent a bicycle or mountain bike in Lalinde.

Several cycling routes are available nearby. For example, you can go to the bastide villages; Beaumont de Perigord and Monpazier cycling. There are many other cycle routes available that will take you off the beaten track through the hidden gems of the Dordogne.

Canoes (from 1 to 4 people) can be rented at various locations in the Dordogne and Vézère valleys. The rental company will pick you up at the end of the tour and take you back to the starting point in a minibus. Canoeing is a great way to experience the beauty and grandeur of nature, castles and villages in the valley.

In Lalinde, Limeuil and several other places you can swim in the Dordogne and Vézère river. There is a long beach with supervision in the summer, please remember to wear water shoes because of the boulders.
